voted during the piano rounds, but I'm not voting anymore.
Why? Because I am unemployed and I blew quite a lot of cash
when I voted. But all the contestants I voted for are still
in the competition, so I'm happy... broke but happy. I think
they will go far, Idol or not.
I've done a little Idol artwork during this unemployment
phase of mine and I hope the Idols like it. I've also included
the eliminated contestants from the Top 13 so if they drop
by for some chai shai, then you can show it to them.
The artwork is based on the South Park cartoons so hopefully
they'll find it humorous. Oooh, I've also made one for Mini
and Hussain. I hope they like it, too.

I am Hira from Pakistan and I am a big fan of Indian Idol.
My favourite contestant is Ankita. I simply love her voice.
When she was eliminated, I cried for a whole week, and when
she came back as a Wild Card, I distributed sweets in my entire
colony. I really love her and I have no words to express how
much I love her. My room is filled with her posters. I have
pasted her pictures on the walls of my colony, too. I often
fight with my friends when they say she is not too good.

Ankita has all the elements to be Bharat Ki Shaan. She is
red-hot chilli performer and every Friday, even before she
starts performing, my mother and I start voting for her till
the time we are asleep. Then on Saturday morning, I send more
votes to Ankita before 8 a.m. to keep her safe. She's the
only contestant till date who has made almost every guest
dance with her, so what do you all think… we need an Indian
Idol who can rock the nation & Anky baby is that Idol.
Every time she performs I get the shivers... be it her Aise jadoo dala re or her Sooraj huaaa madham or Dilwalon ke dil, she has rocked the crowd. I can never forget her lawyer act in Roobaroo. What else can I say? I am running out of words. Yes, last but not the least, Ankita is the only contestant who has escaped the harsh comments of our dear Anu Maliik. So let's all cheers for Anky baby, the rock star.

All the participants may be cute and innocent, but MEIYANG
CHANG from Dhanbad is the best. Recently I read in The Telegraph
that his mother has requested the Chinese community based
in Tangra to vote for him. I heard the Chinese are planning
to hold a rally in Kolkata for Chang if he reaches the Top
5. I am going to join them, too. My nine-year-old nephew Hardik,
who stays in Dhanbad, is also a great fan of Chang. He has
Chang's posters on his wall and urges the neighbours to vote
for him.

AMIT PAUL absolutely rocks. I printed very small pamphlets
and distributed it to my classmates. My friends and I go to
every classroom to write VOTE FOR AMIT (and how to do it)
on the blackboard. Once I rang up my friend and asked her
to vote for Amit. She didn't know who it was, but she still
voted! She started watching the show after that and now she
is head over heels in love with him. My granny, who is 75
years old, also votes for him.
This is the craziest thing we have done for Amit. When Amit's posters were out, we wanted a copy so badly. So we went to Police Bazar and tore it down from the wall. The next day we went to three other places and took the posters. You wouldn't believe how happy we were. My friend even asked a hawker to vote for him!
I.have voted more than 500 times for Amit already and I pray to God that he wins.

we cannot vote. But we are so crazy that we collect money
and send it to India and ask our friends and relatives to
